World Aids Day 2021: Will AIDS come from participating in that work?
No matter how many diseases there are in this world .. no matter how many
viruses there are, there is a cure for everything. We also found an antidote
to the corona epidemic that came to an end two years ago.
However, HIV and AIDS are still of drug-free epidemics. Doctors say it can be
life-threatening for those infected. AIDS was first diagnosed in four
homosexuals in the United States on June 5, 1981. It has infected millions of
people so far.
AIDS was first diagnosed in our country in 1986. To date, however, no cure has
been found. The only way. Many of us have many myths and suspicions about this
terrible disease. In this context, let us learn some facts about AIDS.
Decreases immunity
The AIDS pandemic is one of the deadliest diseases that humanity has ever seen
on this planet. This is medically known as Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)
or Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. It is an infectious disease that
weakens the human immune system. It spreads from one person to another. This
HIV gradually transforms into AIDS. This can be fatal for the patient.
If dining together
Most of us still have this misconception. Even if you have a meal with an
HIV-infected person .. or on their plate .. there is a misconception that they
can get the disease no matter where they sit. However, this is just a myth.
This is because HIV is a virus that is only active when it is inside the body.
Did not sustain its survival in the external environment. So keeping an
HIV-positive patient away is like doing injustice to them (him/her). An HIV
patient is a normal human being who is just like all of us, but their immune
system is more affected than us which is why they need to take extra
precautions.
Is there an infection?
Many people believe that HIV can be transmitted to newborns while the mother
is pregnant or by breastfeeding. However, this does not happen every time. If
the baby is born to either a normal father or a mother who has HIV, they will
not have the disease. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the
average person, and should be avoided as soon as possible.
If drugs are used
Once a person is diagnosed with HIV, it is important to continue taking the
medication prescribed by your doctor. But some of us believe that these are
very powerful drugs that can eradicate HIV (as a strong medicine can cure
fever quickly). But HIV is not like that. So, if you want to live a healthy
life, using the right medications and at the right time, it is also very
important to get checked in between.
Will you die soon?
The most common misconception about HIV / AIDS is that the life expectancy of
an HIV patient is very short. However, this is untrue. It is now widely known
that an HIV-infected person can live longer and have a healthier family life
with the help of the right medications available with the advancement of
science and technology. However, if the patient is not treated properly from
time to time, AIDS can progress to the final stage (if not treated again),
leading to death.
If you participate in that work
There is a strong myth that many of us are infected with HIV / AIDS even if we
are involved in that work. However, this is completely untrue. HIV is not
transmitted in any other way than by having sex with infected people and
receiving their blood. Because we breathe in the area where the HIV patients
are, it does not infect us through the air. It does not come to us whether we
touch them or shake hands. AIDS does not come from sitting on toilet seats
used by HIV patients, or using the doorknob and handles they touch afterward.
Is AIDS spreading fast?
Many people have the misconception that as soon as they become HIV positive,
it transforms into AIDS. But none of this is true. In fact, even if you are
HIV positive, you will not reach the AIDS stage immediately. At such times,
you may not reach the AIDS stage if you follow the doctor's guidelines and
medications at the right time. It can reach the stage of AIDS after a few
years if you do not take proper treatment.
If you have oral sax
The chances of transmitting HIV through oral sex are very slim. That is not to
say it is completely safe though. This is because if there are any wounds in
the mouth of the infected person or their partner, even if there are small
wounds or sores that are not visible in the other person's genitals ... there
is a chance that HIV can be spread through them.
