One of the most common problems in today’s society is infertility. It has grown by almost 20-30% in the last four and a half years. Being ready for procreation plays an equally important role not only for the woman but also for the man. Decreased quality and sperm count in men can also be a major cause of female infertility.

Many men today suffer from sperm deficiency. This condition is called oligospermia. If a man has less than 15 million sperm in a milliliter of semen, it means that the man is suffering from oligospermia. The most common symptoms of this condition are watery ejaculation and low ejaculation, impotence, rapid swelling and pain, and decreased body and facial hair growth.

People with oligospermia can increase sperm production by eating a balanced diet with vitamin C, vitamin B12, zinc, and omega-3 fatty acids. Taking care in advance and making changes in diet can prevent the condition from getting worse. Otherwise, it can lead to male infertility.

Drinks - Coconut water, sugar cane juice, soup, herbal tea, homemade juices

Things to avoid - creamy liquids, canned soup, pocket soup, alcohol, soft drinks, carbonated beverages

Others

Ingredients - jaggery, honey

Things to avoid - alcohol, junk foods, processed and packaged foods

Conventional remedies

* Soaking dill seeds in water overnight and eating dill with water the next morning will increase sperm count.

* Mix 1/2 teaspoon of cow ghee in a tumbler of milk and drink it daily.

* Almonds soaked in water daily to increase sperm count.

* Add 2-3 dates in lukewarm milk before going to bed at night and take it daily to increase sperm count.

Things to remember:

* Avoid alcohol.

* Quit smoking.

* Eat a diet high in antioxidants.

* Get enough sleep every day.

* Maintain proper body weight.

* Exercise regularly every day
